Volunteer at Home...

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Nevada State Veterans Home.  Through your time and talents, you can add a refreshing dimension to the lives of the American heroes who reside at the Home.  Volunteers are vital.  Without them we would be unable to provide the services our residents enjoy and deserve.

Consider the opportunities:

  • Working as a cashier in our Canteen
  • Assisting residents during onsite and offsite outings
  • Facilitating BINGO and other games
  • Assisting with special events
  • Visiting with residents
  • Providing clerical support for the administrative and clinical team

activitesWe provide training for all Nevada State Veterans Home volunteers, insuring a “win-win” for everyone.

Our volunteers are respected and appreciated and we are deeply grateful for their commitment, professionalism, and integrity.  You are important to us and our mission - begin your volunteer service now.  We need you!

For more information, please contact the NSVH Volunteer Office, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at (702) 332-6741.
