Another Veterans K-9 Corps Class is Completed

The Truckee Meadows Dog Training Club, in partnership with the Nevada Department of Veterans Services, have completed a fifth session of the Veterans K-9 Corps, a Veterans peer support program.

Veterans who participate in the program are provided nine weeks of dog training that covers topics like obedience, agility, as well as other fun activities including scent work. Both camaraderie and appreciation for the common love of dogs are evident throughout the program, and the dogs also seem to have fun learning and engaging! During this session, five dogs received their Canine Good Citizen Certification.
