The EmployNV Veteran Employment Team recently launched a new webpage designed to better connect veterans and eligible spouses seeking employment throughout Nevada. The new webpage provides easier navigation for accessing detailed information about employment opportunities, workforce resources, and veteran ready businesses across Nevada.

Veterans and eligible spouses can now get started by completing a short online interest form to get employment services started.

Have a question? There is also a shared mailbox monitored by the Veteran Employment Team staff that will respond to any general questions that candidates might have.

Additionally, the Veteran Employment team will provide business services for businesses and employers interested in recruiting and hiring veterans.

NDVS (Nevada Department of Veterans Services) is currently dealing with a large number of requests.

VSO intake appointments are taking about 30–90 days to schedule. The wait time depends on which location you choose and appointment availability. If you have already submitted a request, you may need to wait longer than usual for someone to contact you. It does not necessarily mean your request has a problem, it’s primarily a notice about the current backlog.
