Nevada Assemblyman Ken Gray has been appointed to serve as a senior advisor to the National Cemetery Administration at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He was sworn in recently to serve in this new role.
Gray announced the new appointment would mean he would have to step down from his position as Assemblyman for District 39. He said, “It has truly been the honor of a lifetime to represent you over the past two terms. I’m not disappearing, just taking a temporary step away from Nevada politics to once again serve my fellow veterans, our country, and our President in a new capacity.
Gray is a U.S. Air Force veteran who has been serving in the Nevada Assembly for the 39th district since 2022.
