Women Veterans Conference 2022

NDVS-hosted a free Women Veterans Conference. The hybrid event was available via Zoom and in-person at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.

The theme this year was: “Emergence: A Way Forward.” Women warriors are, and have always been leaders, influencers, and supporters in their communities. But even as women grow in positions of leadership, many still face challenges. Whether these challenges began during military service or as a result of a difficult transition back into civilian life or for other reasons, with community support and connection to opportunities, women veterans can find a path forward to fulfillment.  

All women veterans were invited to join us for a day of fun, learning, and comradeship.   

This year’s featured speaker was Lourdes Tiglao, Director of the VA’s Center for Women Veterans with additional speakers presenting on veteran benefits and VA Healthcare Programs for women veterans.
