The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) offers discounted licenses for hunting and fishing to active-duty members and veterans. Nevada veteran residents or any active-duty service members not station within Nevada (must provide proof of duty station) are eligible for a specialty combination hunting and fishing license for $15. Resident veterans of the Armed Forces who have incurred a service-connected disability of 50% or more and have received an honorable discharge or certificate of satisfactory service are also eligible for a specialty combination hunting and fishing license for $15. Non-resident, active service members and their families who are assigned to permanent duty stationed in Nevada are eligible for resident hunting and fishing licenses without fulfilling the 6-month Nevada residency requirement. Signed verification of residency and duty station may be required. These licenses are valid for one year from date of purchase. Prices do not include nominal processing fee.
Tag return program for active-duty members. Any person who draws a game tag and after receiving the tag, is mobilized or deployed while serving on active duty in the Armed Forces of the United States may return the game tag for a refund or defer the privilege of that tag for up to 2 successive years. http://www.ndow.org/
