Nevada Veteran Memorial Cemeteries – COVID-19 Restrictions and Updates

The COVID-19 pandemic is still impacting the way we and other veterans’ cemeteries across the country are conducting services. If you have lost a loved one during this time, please know, our hearts are with you. We will work with you to honor your loved one and keep everyone safe from exposure to the virus. Please read the COVID-19 restrictions below and contact the Cemetery staff if you have any questions.

FUNERAL SERVICES and BURIAL OPERATIONS

Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery (NNVMC)

• Services can be scheduled throughout the week
• Attendees are limited to groups of 50 people for outdoor service, and 10 for indoor services.
• Social distancing and face coverings are required.
• Full services and military honors can be held.

Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery (SNVMC)

• Services can be scheduled throughout the week.
• Attendees are limited to groups of 50 people or less in the chapel.
• Social distancing and face coverings are required.
• Services can be scheduled for the indoor chapel with social distancing protocols in place.
• Full services and military honors can be held.
