DESCRIPTION:Ready\, set\, run! The ultimate day of fitness and outdoor fun returns as Skye Canyon hosts Fit Fest 2024 on Saturday\, March 9th. Runners ranging from novices to trailblazers to those seeking a stroll with family and friends will find the road race that’s perfect for their stride\, including a 5K/8K road race\, and one-mile fun run. Following the race\, you can fuel your whole adventure with bites from local food trucks. \nRegistration for the general public\, Skye Canyon residents\, and active or retired military will open January 20. Even better\, 100% of the race proceeds benefit the Kline Veteran’s Fund\, a charitable organization providing financial assistance and other support to homeless\, at-risk\, and indigent Veterans and their families in Southern Nevada.

Warm up prior to the round at the practice facility with an elevated hitting area and multiple putting and chipping surfaces. Shotgun start at 8 am. \nAll golf packages include golf fees\, cart\, use of practice facility\, range balls\, pre-play drinks\, awards banquet\, gift bag\, and multiple contests including a Hole In One contest where you could win a brand new Subaru!  \nTest your skill shooting a golf ball cannon and win a prize for the longest launch. \nIndividual registrations are just $200 per player or enjoy a $50 discount when you register a team for $750. \nMulligans and raffle tickets will be for sale on site or during registration.  \nAll net proceeds from this event will be immediately deployed to assist local veterans in need of housing assistance and other supportive services.

Any veteran with an ID is eligible to receive items and services. \nThe event starts at 10am at NV Energy main office on Sahara and Jones\, just look for the tents. \nLearn about energy savings programs\, get clothing\, hygiene and household items plus a picnic style lunch\, all completely free. \nWith thanks to our partners Bombas Project Marilyn Amusement\, Exhibit & Event Services Operation Gratitude the Valenzuela Family Foundation and all those who have donated items for the giveaway to serve our veterans.
