Have you heard of the Nevada
Veterans Benefit Registry?

As NDVS works to better serve the veterans of Nevada, the registry will help inform the department about the needs of the community. This new registry provides three key benefits to Nevada’s veterans and their families.

First, registrants will be connected to information on both state and federal information about benefits, resources, and programs earned through U.S. military service.

Second, registrants will stay connected, meaning they will be notified of important information that could impact their lives, such as VA benefit changes.

Finally the Nevada Veterans Benefit Registry will help provide NDVS with information enabling NDVS to better serve Nevada’s veterans.

The Nevada Veterans Benefit Registry may be found on the front page of the NDVS website

NDVS (Nevada Department of Veterans Services) is currently dealing with a large number of requests.

VSO intake appointments are taking about 30–90 days to schedule. The wait time depends on which location you choose and appointment availability. If you have already submitted a request, you may need to wait longer than usual for someone to contact you. It does not necessarily mean your request has a problem, it’s primarily a notice about the current backlog.
