Military Sexual Trauma (MST) Educational Series

Register for A FREE Three-Part Virtual Series Exploring the Identification & Treatment of MST

The Nevada of Department of Veterans Services in collaboration with the Perry Foundation is hosting a FREE series of virtual MST workshops for women and men who are veterans, active duty, Guard, Reserves, healthcare providers, community partners, and supporters. 

You will need to register separately for each event in this three-part Virtual MST Educational Series. You can attend one or more; however, if you are a healthcare professional who would like to obtain CEUs, you must attend all three events for full credit.

Tuesday, August 17: 1:00 P.M. – 2:30 P.M. PT (Focus on Survivors) 

Tuesday, August 24: 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. PT (Focus on Healthcare Professionals) 

Tuesday, August 31: 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. PT (Focus on Healthcare Professionals) 

Please Note: CEUs are pending approval for Licensed Administrators (Board of Examiners for Long Term Care Administrators – ETHICS CEUs), Licensed Nurses (Nevada State Board of Nursing), and Social Workers (Board of Examiners for Social Workers).

2021 Virtual Women Veterans Conference – Nevada
March 3, 2021 from 9 a.m. – Noon Pacific Time

In celebration of Women’s History Month, on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 9 a.m. – Noon Pacific Time, the Nevada of Department of Veterans Services will host a FREE Virtual Women Veterans Conference on Zoom. All veterans, active duty, Guard, Reserves, community partners, and supporters are invited to attend. Topics will touch on personal courage and resilience, health and wellness, VA healthcare, and the courage to be during challenging times.

Center for Women Veterans Virtual Roundtable – Nevada

All active duty service members, veterans, community partners and supporters are invited to attend this FREE virtual roundtable for Women Veterans in Nevada. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions about VA Healthcare, benefits, disability claims, and resources. Experienced Veterans Service Officers (VSO) and experts from the VA will be answering your questions.
