Gentle Giants Bring Moments of Calm to NNSVH Residents


Residents at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home (NNSVH) in Sparks enjoyed a special visit from Horsemanship for Heroes, as two gentle Gypsy Vanner draft horses, Shahan and Latte stopped by to spend time with veterans. The calming presence of the horse brought smiles, laughter, and a sense of peace to residents, reminding everyone of the special comfort and joy that animals so naturally provide!
