Vietnam Veterans of America’s founding principle is “Never again shall one generation of veterans abandon another.
“Organizational goals are to promote and support the full range of issues important to Vietnam Veterans, to create a new identity for this generation of Veterans, and to change public perception of Vietnam Veterans. VVA holds as its first principle that the organization is measured by deeds and openness as evidence of the core values of justice, integrity, and meaningful achievement.
The Vietnam Veterans of America is a non-profit, veterans service organization (Tax ID #52-185-0908). Donations are tax deductible under IRS regulation 501-c19 group exemption 3202 for veterans organizations. Under this group exemption, donations to the VVA, VVA state councils and VVA chapters are deductible as provided by Section 170 of the IRS Code.
