FREE- honoring Korean War veterans with special gift

This month, July 27th, 2022, marks the 69th Anniversary of the Korean War Armistice, ending three years of a bloody and challenging war involving the U.S., People’s Republic of China, North Korea, and South Korea. The war began on June 25, 1950, when communist North Korean invaded South Korea. Almost immediately, the U.S. secured a resolution from the United Nations calling for the military defense of South Korean against the North Korean aggression. To mark the anniversary of the end of the Korean War, NDVS is providing Korean War veterans with a gift from the South Korean government.

For a limited time, NDVS will provide these veterans, AT NO COST, with their own nationally acclaimed book/DVD set: Korea Reborn: A Grateful Nation Honors War Veterans for 60 Years of Growth and The Remembered War, a 2014 GI Film Festival selected documentary. The set remembers and honors the Americans who fought for freedom and helped to nourish a modern and prosperous South Korea. While we honor the service of all who veterans, this offer is a special gift reserved only for those who served in combat during the Korean War.

We regret we cannot mail the free book sets due to the cost. But Korean War veterans may arrange to pick up their free copy by emailing to: pio.ndvs@veterans.nv.gov.

We thank you for your service!
