Bravo Zulu was developed by the Nevada Department of Veterans Services, Perry Foundation, and Jennifer Carson, PhD for three primary reasons:

  1. The need to improve military cultural competence/humility among healthcare providers.
  2. The need to provide comprehensive dementia care education.
  3. The need to serve and support people, including older and disabled veterans.

This course is split into 4 modules with varying themes like valuing culture, embracing others’ perspectives, and enhancing social interactions through a military lens. Bravo Zulu has submitted 12 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the Board of Examiners for Long-Term Care Administrators, Board of Examiners for Marriage and Family Therapists, Board of Social Workers, and Board of Nursing. You must attend all 4 sessions to receive CEU credit.
