AARP and  Elizabeth Dole Foundation Announce Nationwide Launch of FREE Respite Relief Program for Veteran and Military Family Caregivers.

AARP and the Elizabeth Dole Foundation recently expanded their FREE Respite Relief Program for Veteran and Military Family Caregivers nationwide. This  program grants family caregivers’ access to no-cost short term assistance to help those caring for a wounded, ill, or injured veteran or service member at home.  

This program, provided through CareLinx, can be used to receive up to 24 hours of respite care to help with activities of daily living, such as cooking, grocery shopping, housekeeping, bathing, and medication reminders. To learn more or apply: https://hiddenheroes.org/respite/
