Affordable Taxi Service for Washoe County Veterans

The Washoe County program Washoe Senior Ride supports eligible veterans of any age as well as senior citizens in Washoe County. This program allows eligible veterans to purchase $60 worth of taxi fares for just $15!  

While there are quite a few rules to be aware of in determining eligibility, this program could be a big help to veterans who can’t drive and need rides to medical appointments, the grocery store, and more.  There are no income requirements or restrictions, and the program is only valid in Washoe County, but it could be helpful to veterans who live in Washoe County.
