Become a Nevada Veterans Advocate

Congratulations to Leticia (Lety) Chavez! She is now a graduate of our online Nevada Veterans Advocate (NVA) course. She recently completed the online course to receive her certificate and become an official NVA!   

Lety works for NDVS as an Administrative Assistant for the Deputy Director of Operations.   

As an NV Advocate, she will help in the outreach and education efforts to active-duty military members, NV National Guard, Reserves, and veterans as well as their families. She learned about the benefits and opportunities earned through U.S military service by taking the online course. As an NVA, she is now able to share information about earned benefits and resources to assist those who currently are or have served our country.  

To become an NVA, you must complete the online course which consists of 20 lessons. Once you receive your NVA certificate, you can become part of the NDVS team and help us spread the word at outreach events for veterans. To learn more or to enroll in the NVA course, click HERE.
