Congratulations to Crombie Academy Graduates!

The Southern Nevada State Veterans Home has five new Certified Nursing Assistants, thanks to the recent graduates of the PFC David “Nick” Crombie Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Academy!  

Congratulations to Rylee Arthur, Eta Gustav Eku, Hailey Johnson, Leila Mae Gabrielle Villanueva, and Patricea Henderson! They not only completed course work required by the academy, but they also passed the State of Nevada’s CNA Certification Exam to become working CNAs at the Home.  

The Crombie Academy is a FREE workforce development program designed to train CNAs. The four-week, 120-hour training program includes 40 hours of classroom instruction, 40 hours of laboratory practice and 40 hours of supervised clinical instruction that is delivered on-site at the Southern Nevada State Veterans Home.
