Two major events held in Las Vegas last month shined a spotlight on the great work being done by nonprofits, organizations, groups, charities, advocates and others in support of veterans and the veteran community. The NDVS team was proud to play a role in participating in these events.
The 2024 Day of Gratitude was held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Hundreds filled the stadium as participants celebrated veterans, military members and their families. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the valor and sacrifices of those who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. military. The event was presented by CityServe International and Voice of the Veteran. The initiative was led by Peter Palivos, Chairman of Voice of the Veteran and Dave Donaldson, CEO of CityServe.
A few weeks later, U.S. Vets Las Vegas held its “Veterans Stand Down” at the World Market Center. The NDVS team also participated in the event which brought together various organizations, volunteers, and service providers who offer life-changing services such as healthcare, job assistance, housing support, legal aid and essential resources like food and clothing to attendees.
