Flag Retirement Ceremony

Flag Day is celebrated on June 14, 2025. The day commemorates the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as the official flag of the United States of America. It’s the perfect time to display the flag in front of your home or business.

To honor our flag and what it represents, the month of June also provides the perfect opportunity to focus on the proper retirement of the flag once it’s worn and time to replace it.

On May 10, 2025, the Valley of Fire Chapter, NSDAR hosted a Flag Retirement Ceremony at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City. Click HERE to review the program.
