Generosity Provides Important Make-Over at NNSVH

The activities room at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home received a make-over last month. New furniture was added to the three activities rooms in the home, thanks to a more than $4,500 grant from the Home Depot Foundation and volunteer efforts of the VVA, the Associates of the VVA, and Team Depot volunteers from the Northtown Lane Reno Store. 

The VVA submitted the grant request to pay for enhancements including new furniture for improved storage and organizational options.
