The Korean War began on June 25, 1950, when approximately 75,000 soldiers from the North Korean People’s Army poured across the 38th parallel, the boundary between North and South Korea. This year marks the 72 Anniversary to the start of the Korean War. To mark the occasion, NDVS is providing Korean War veterans with a gift. For a limited time, NDVS will provide these veterans with their own nationally acclaimed book and DVD set: Korea Reborn: A Grateful Nation Honors War Veterans for 60 Years of Growth and The Remembered War, a 2014 GI Film Festival selected documentary.
The book/DVD set remembers and honors the brave Americans who served during the Korean War. Their fight for freedom in a war-torn, distant land has nourished a modern and prosperous Republic of Korea, one of the world’s most powerful testaments to the fruits of liberty. The sets are provided as a gift from the South Korean government, enabling NDVS to provide to Korean War veterans, at NO COST to these veterans! While we honor the service of all who veterans, this offer is a special gift reserved only for those who served in combat during the Korean War.
We regret we cannot mail the free book sets due to the cost. But Korean War veterans may arrange to pick up their free copy by emailing to: pio.ndvs@veterans.nv.gov.
We thank you for your service!
