The Nevada Department of Veterans Services (NDVS) is hiring for a temporary, contractual Clinical Social Worker. Under the direction of the Deputy Director of Healthcare Services this position will support grant funded programs for Community Mental Health Services (CMHS) and recovery services for serious mental illness (SMI). This will include working with community partners to ensure effective programming is monitored, gaps are addressed. This position will perform as a liaison to referral-based mental health treatment and oversee and monitor treatment outcomes. The target audience for mental health initiatives through NDVS is specific to Nevada Veterans and family members of Nevada Veterans.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker by the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers.
Valid drivers’ license required.
State of Nevada/FBI fingerprint-based background check required at time of appointment.
Salary Information
The position is grant funded through October 2027.
$32.00 – $35.00 per hour DOE.
Work Schedule – 40 hours per week, variable schedule to include occasional weekends and evenings.
This position is geographically located in Clark County.
