Laborers Union Local 169 Donated Grocery Gift Cards to Veteran Organizations

On May 12, 2020, Local #169 presented 50 Raley’s gift cards to the Department State Commanders of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Vietnam Veterans of America.

Each card is valued at $25, resulting in each of the four veteran organizations receiving $1,250 in grocery store gift cards for a total donation of $5,000. Each organization will distribute the gift cards to veterans who need a helping hand during these unprecedented times due to the pandemic.

The contributions made by Local 169 are greatly appreciated and will help many veterans in need.
