National Family Caregiver Month

Each November, National Family Caregiver Month is recognized across the nation. The day of honor shines a light on family caregivers and care partners.

According to the Caregiver Action Network, National Family Caregiver Month raises awareness about the issues and challenges facing caregivers. It also provides a way to acknowledge, celebrate, and support those providing care.

This day of recognition is important. NDVS acknowledges this by continuing efforts to raise awareness for caregivers of veterans, especially those who may not know about earned benefits or how to connect to those benefits for the veteran in their care.
