NDVS Seeking Candidates in Two Key Areas

NDVS is seeking candidates to fill two important positions within the department.  

As previously mentioned in other sections of this newsletter, our current NDVS Suicide Prevention Program Manager will be moving to a similar position within the U.S. Army. This leaves our Suicide Prevention Program Manager position open. This leadership position oversees the suicide prevention and mental health programs for veterans throughout Nevada, including the Governor’s and Mayor’s Challenges. The position requires skills that identify partners throughout Nevada and connects them to amplify the Silver State’s suicide prevention efforts.   

NDVS is also seeking a qualified person in southern Nevada to serve as a writer/photographer for the department. A volunteer would be ideal, but we are not tied to this path depending on skills and abilities. Again, the writer/photographer position is for candidates living in southern Nevada.
