Immigration Assistance Program The Immigration Assistance Program is currently closed to walk in clients. We will only be serving clients who have a scheduled appointment. Resource Hub

The Resource Hub is also closed to walk in clients. We will be handling all inquiries via phone. If you need assistance, please call (775) 322-7073 ext. 330.

St. Vincent’s Dining Room

St. Vincent’s Food Pantry

The St. Vincent’s Food Pantry is also open. As with the Dining Room, we will be offering our standard food pantry services. We are asking client to maintain social distancing while waiting.

Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada

March 19th, 2020 In an abundance of caution, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada has made the following programmatic changes in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Southern Nevada Health District. In addition to these changes, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada is continuing to enact enhanced cleaning of the entire campus and providing additional hand sanitizers as well as professional sanitization of client facing areas on site. Many staff members have also began transitioning to working remotely.

FOOD SERVICES

St. Vincent Lied Dining Facility

• Paid Breakfast and Lunch: Effective Tuesday, March 17th, the paid Breakfast and Lunch service was discontinued until further notice.

• Community Meal: Effective Tuesday, March 17th, meals are distributed in to-go boxes starting at 10:00am.

Meals on Wheels: Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada continues to operate Meals on Wheels for homebound seniors in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas. We are working with relevant agencies to ensure we continue serving homebound seniors with their health and safety in mind. Accordingly, Meals on Wheels will now be delivering meals to the doorstep of seniors with verification that someone from the residence takes the food inside. Case management will also be completed over the phone.

Hands of Hope Community Food Pantry:The Hands of Hope Community Food Pantry continues to provides food Monday – Saturday from 8:00am – 4:00pm to people in need. In an effort to increase social distancing, Effective Tuesday, March 17th, the Hands of Hope Community Food Pantry enacted a protocol of distributing food in prepackaged boxes outside.

SHELTER SERVICES

Day Shelter for Men: Effective Wednesday, March 18th, the Day Shelter will be closed until further notice.

Night Shelter: We are working closely with the Southern Nevada Health District help the shelter run as safely as possible during this time. Currently, the Night Shelter remains in operation.

SOCIAL SERVICES

WIC: The lobbies of Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada’s WIC offices have been closed. Appointments will be conducted remotely. Renewing Hope for Men: Participants in the Renewing Hope program will receive assignments to complete on their own, rather than attending classes as a group. They will continue to receive meals from the St. Vincent Lied Dining Facility and continue to Nevada Homeless Shelter & Food Services Operational Changes- COVID-19 3.20.2020 complete apprenticeships on our campus. Graduation ceremonies have been postponed until further notice. Client Services: As of Wednesday, March 18th, the lobby of Client Services will be closed. However, they will continue to provide services, including distributing Clarity Cards, through a window Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

IMMIGRATION AND REFUGEE SERVICES Immigration Services: Appointments for this program are being completed remotely.

Migration and Refugee Services: This department is working with the USCCB to stay up to do on Refugee resettlement in the United States at this time. They are also working to have staff members work at home.

English Language Program: Effective Monday, March 23, Students will have the option to take classes online. No in person classes will be held.

FISH: Carson City For more information call 775-882-3474. Shelter is FULL and not taking any additional clients.

Shelter-No new intakes for the overnight shelter, or recovery program at this time.

Food Services Food Shelter Boxes– provided to out-of-state residents with proof of state I.D., clients can drive up in car and arrange pick-up from curb. 5pm Daily Meals- being packaged for the community to pick-up from curb. No dining hall services provided, pick-up meals to go is only option at this time.

Three Square Meals: For more information call 702-765-4030 In an effort to serve as many people as possible, Three Square has collaborated with select agency partners and volunteers located in key regions throughout the valley who will be assisting with the distribution of food at 43 emergency food distribution sites.

The emergency food distribution sites – which have various dates of operation and distribution times – were chosen to maximize coverage and food distribution across Southern Nevada. The sites are located at: 21 CCSD school sites (in addition to the 15 sites CCSD confirmed that will serve breakfast and lunch); three Station Casinos properties, including Palace Station, Sunset Station and Boulder Station; 10 Just One Project LDS Church sites; and nine of Three Square’s local agency partners.
