NNSVH Celebrates 5th Anniversary

The Northern Nevada State Veterans Home (NNSVH) in Sparks celebrated its 5th Anniversary on May 15, 2024. The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 989 and the Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 989 hosted the event. The celebration included an opening ceremony, car show, and an outdoor cookout for all to enjoy!

The NNSVH welcomed its first residents starting in May 2019. WWII Navy veteran Carol “Connie” McGee was among the first to call the NNSVH her home. She was among the attendees to celebrate the anniversary.
