NNSVH Received the Pinnacle Customer Experience Award


This April, the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home (NNSVH) received the Pinnacle Customer Experience Award™ for achieving best-in-class in customer satisfaction standards in the following areas:

  • Quality of Food
  • Cleanliness
  • Individual Needs
  • Laundry Service
  • Communication from Facility
  • Response to Problems
  • Recommend to Others
  • Activities
  • Admission Process
  • Safety and Security
  • Overall Customer Experience

“We have a dedicated team at the NNSVH who worked very hard during the past year to keep our residents safe, healthy and happy,” said NNSVH Administrator Mike Ball. “Our team members’ continuing commitment to serving Nevada’s heroes and their families with the best care possible is admirable.”

The Pinnacle Customer Experience Award™ recognizes care providers who have achieved best-in-class customer satisfaction standards within their peer group. During the past 12 months, Pinnacle Quality Insight, a nationally recognized customer satisfaction firm, interviewed customers of Northern Nevada Veterans Home regarding their satisfaction levels. Customers were asked to evaluate several aspects of their received services. From the results of these interviews, Pinnacle determined that NNSVH qualified for awards in several areas. Some of the survey quotes include:

Opened in the fall of 2019 in Sparks, Nevada, the NNSVH is a 102,000 square foot facility with 96 beds and a host of amenities. Providing short-term rehabilitation, long-term care and memory care, NNSVH is overseen by the Nevada Department of Veterans Services (NDVS) and managed by Avalon Health Care Management.
