PACT Act Town Hall and Resource Fair

More than 400 veterans attended a special event hosted by the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) and NDVS to discuss the PACT Act. The PACT Act is the largest expansion of veteran health care and benefits in decades.

The PACT Act “Week of Action” Town Hall and Resource Fair at the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center was held on December 17, 2022. The purpose of the event was to inform local veterans, their families, caregivers and survivors about the PACT Act, which was signed into law in the summer of 2022.

The event featured a moderated 60-minute town hall featuring senior leadership with the VASNHS, VBA and NDVS. The event also included separate briefings on how to file a claim, enroll in healthcare as well as veterans readiness and employment.
