Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Marks Veterans Art Garden Grand Opening

A June 6, 2025, ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the grand opening of the new Veterans Art Garden at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home (NNSVH). The event recognized and honored donors and special guests in celebration of the opening of the unique garden, which is an innovative outdoor space, designed for residents of NNSVH.

Thel garden features vibrant sculptures created by professional artists. It also features interactive elements that include a water feature and stage area, as well as colorful flowers. The space provides an enjoyable, relaxing, healing area for residents and visitors, featuring kinetic art that moves with the wind and other sensory elements.
