On Sunday, September 29, 2024, day for solemn remembrance, we stand with all our Nation’s Gold Star mothers and fathers, wives and husbands, and daughters and
sons – all the families – who are grieving a loved one, a patriot, who died fighting to defend our country and preserve our freedom. Each day, we keep faith with all those who kept faith with us by recommitting to our sacred obligation as a Nation to always care for the families of those who gave their last full measure of devotion to our great country.
This year, we will have our Fifth Annual Gold Star Mothers and Family Luminary event at the Gold Star Family Memorial Monument on the grounds of the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home, located at 36 Battle Born Way in Sparks, Nevada.
We will have our customary ceremony at 6:00 p.m., along with a reading of the Gold Star Mother and Family Proclamation and Luminary placement.
Please save the date and send to anyone interested in attending this important information.
