Thank You Washoe County Sheriff’s Office

A special shout out and thank you to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO). Sheriff Darin Balaam and his deputies played Santa through their “Gift a Vet” program. On December 14th, just before Christmas, Sheriff Balaam and several law enforcement officers dropped off carloads of gifts that nearly filled an entire portion of an activities room at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home. The gifts were selected based off wish lists provided by residents of the home. The generosity of the WCSO will be remembered long after the holiday season and into the New Year! We cannot thank them enough.
