The Pasha Group Provides “Welcome Bags” to New Residents at Sparks Veterans Home

Moving into a new place is often stressful, but a donation by The Pasha Group will help ease the transition for new residents at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home. Last month, the Reno Director, Matthew Kaempfe and a couple Pasha volunteers (Laura Drysdale & Abel Rodriguez) stopped by the home to drop off boxes full of items, ranging from personal toiletry items to adult color books and more. The items will be placed into “welcome bags” to be provided to new residents moving into the Sparks, Nevada home.

“We all felt that providing a gift would be a terrific way to show our appreciation and thanks to those who have served our country,” said Laura Drysdale, with The Pasha Group. “This is just a small gesture to let these Veterans know they are valued and remembered for their service and sacrifice.”

The Pasha Group is a family-owned diversified global logistics and transportation services company, which has served military families in the movement of household goods and vehicles for decades. Employees have been buying and collecting items to place in the welcome bags over the past several months.

Donations at both our Northern and Southern Nevada State Veterans Homes are always welcome! For more information on how to donate email: pio.ndvs@veterans.nv.gov
