Veterans Day 2022

This year, Veterans Day falls on a Friday. You may want to mark your calendar for the Veterans Day events coming up on November 11, 2022.

In Las Vegas, NDVS will be hosting a Veterans Day Ceremony at the Nevada State Veterans Memorial, located outside the Grant Sawyer Building beginning at 1:30 p.m. This ceremony will follow the annual Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade in downtown making it more convenient for residents to attend both the parade and ceremony.

In Reno, NDVS will be participating in the city’s downtown Veterans Day Parade. We could use your help in putting our display together and walking with us through the parade route! This would also be a terrific activity for service/civic groups, as well as the kids, grandkids and friendly pets! If you’re interested, please contact Eduardo Martinez at martineze@veterans.nv.gov.

Other city’s and communities across Nevada also host a wide variety of Veterans Day events as well so there will most likely be a celebration near you. If you know of an event or are hosting an event, we would like to hear from you so we may help you promote it. Email pio.ndvs@veterans.nv.gov to provide your information!
