- Nevada Transition Assistance Program (NVTAP)
Did you know that here in Nevada we currently have 22 license plates available of which 10 also have a motorcycle equivalent? These plates allow for the veterans in our state to pick out a plate and personalize it according to their preference. If you’re a veteran who doesn’t have one of these plates but are interested in getting them, the process is relatively simple.
As you get ready to register your car for the year, look into which one you would prefer.
Make an appointment with the DMV and bring the old plates in that you want to replace.
Submit the appropriate SP form for the plate you want and are eligible for.
Affix them to your vehicle, and drive with pride.
While there is an additional fee for getting and renewing veteran plates, this fee comes to NDVS and helps us provide community outreach and service support to veterans of our state.
