Vietnam War Veterans Remembrance Day

Vietnam War Veterans Remembrance Day is recognized annually on March 29. This year, on Saturday, March 25, 2023, the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), Carson City Chapter #388 held a ceremony in the morning followed by one of the larger ceremonies in Nevada later in the day by VVA, Reno Chapter #989 to commemorate the day held at the Nevada Veterans Memorial Plaza in Sparks.

This year is also the 50th anniversary marking the end of U.S. combat operations in Vietnam. The featured event for this ceremony was Lt. Governor Stavros Anthony.
