Part two of the 2023 Military Sexual Trauma (MST) Conference was held on Thursday, March 30th. This session was part of a three-part series that focuses on MST from an up-close and personal perspective, digging into the symptoms and common reactions, along with the treatments and ethical considerations of healthcare professionals caring for MST survivors.
Part two of the series was facilitated by Nadia Dailey, who works in the Nevada National Guard’s Sexual Assault Prevention Program.
The third and final portion of this virtual series is scheduled for April 20th at 1:00 p.m. Register HERE
The MST Virtual Conference is provided in partnership between NDVS and the Perry Foundation. CEUs may be available to healthcare professionals who attend all three portions of this MST series. One CEU credit is approved through both the Nevada State Board of Nursing and Board of Examiners for Long-Term Care. One CEU is pending through the Board of Social Workers.
If you have questions about this educational series, please reach out to Rachel Jelenic, Healthcare Program Manager, at jelenicr@veterans.nv.gov.
