U.S. Armed Forces Week in Nevada

Thanks to the members of the American Legion Post 30 in Sparks, with Ron Miranda and others leading the charge, the celebration of U.S. Armed Forces Day will be recognized differently in Nevada this year. Ron and the others sought to make Armed Forces Day a week-long tribute in Nevada. As a result, Governor Lombardo signed a proclamation declaring the week of May 12 through May 18, 2025, as U.S. Armed Forces Week in Nevada!

Everyone is encouraged to proudly fly the American flag from May 12 through the 18th or on May 17, 2025, which is U.S. Armed Forces Day this year and attend an Armed Forces celebration event in their community!
