Congratulations and Happy Anniversary to the Nevada Veterans Services Commission (VSC). The VSC will mark its golden anniversary, celebrating 50 years of service to Nevada’s heroes.
The VSC was established by the Nevada Legislature in 1975. NRS 417.150 created the commission, establishing the composition of its members, its duties, and requirements for meetings.
The VSC serves as the primary advisory body for state-funded veterans’ services in Nevada. The VSC brings together a diverse group of representatives from various veteran service organizations and includes State Legislators and members of the Northern and Southern Nevada Veteran Memorial Cemetery Advisory Committees.
