Nevada Veteran Honored at Raiders Game

Congratulations to U.S. Army veteran Andy LePeilbet! He was honored at the Las Vegas Raiders “Hero of the Game” on September 15, 2025, during the Raiders home game against the Los Angeles Chargers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Nominated by NDVS, LePeilbet was recognized on the field during the third quarter as part of the Raiders and USAA’s partnership program honoring active-duty military and veterans throughout the season.

A Vietnam veteran who commanded an infantry platoon with A Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division (Air Mobile), LePeilbet’s extraordinary heroism earned him the Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star (two oak leaf clusters), Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and numerous other commendations.

In 2022, he was inducted into the U.S. Army Officer Candidate School Hall of Fame at Fort Benning for his bravery and heroism under fire.
