Campus for Hope Community Experience Center Grand Opening

Campus for Hope celebrated the grand opening of its new “Experience Center,” designed to provide information on the comprehensive services that will be offered to help and support people experiencing homelessness in Southern Nevada.

This Center will help communicate what the Campus for Hope will become once it’s up and running. The plans call for Campus of Hope to be a beautiful, community-forward campus designed to uplift and support those facing homelessness in Southern Nevada. The Center will serve as an ongoing hub where residents can learn more, offer input, and stay engaged as the Campus for Hope moves forward.

Campus for Hope is not a shelter — it is a transformational campus designed for individuals and families who are ready to pursue stability, employment, and independence. After being referred through a navigation center run by the local municipalities, eligible participants are welcomed onto the campus with a full array of wrap-around services tailored to addressing the root causes of homelessness and help create meaningful pathways to stability.

Timing: The Community Experience Center at Campus for Hope opened in December 2025. The full facility doesn’t open until 2028.

Location: The Campus for Hope Experience Center is located at 6255 Community College Center Drive. Campus for Hope will be located on an adjacent 20+-acre parcel of the current Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services campus. This campus has provided a variety of in-and-outpatient mental health services since the 1960s and these services will continue alongside Campus for Hope. The site is centrally located and has convenient access to transportation.

More Information: The Campus for Hope Foundation is a $200 million public-private partnership created to bring a transformational approach to address homelessness in Southern Nevada. The Campus for Hope will be an entirely new facility that will provide some temporary housing with wrap-around services to create a holistic approach to address the underlying causes of homelessness.
