Latest Information on Southern and Nevada State Veterans Homes

We were worried, to say the least, when we first learned of COVID-19 positive test results for six residents at the Southern Nevada State Veterans Home. But that knowledge turned into immediate, aggressive action. We can report as of the release of this newsletter, there are no cases of COVID-19 in either of our veterans homes.

Our teams rigorously follow all protocols and guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus. During this crisis, we have worked hard to keep residents, their families, and the public informed. We reached out directly to families if positive results occurred.

While a close family member would never learn of a new case this way, we set up COVID-19 Update phone lines so extended families and the community would be able to receive the latest information daily, seven days a week. The number for the COVID-19 Update line in Boulder City is (702) 332-6705 and the number for the COVID-19 Update line in Sparks is (775) 418-5026.

We were extremely fortunate for the continued support of our local communities, our State of Nevada, and our Federal partners all of whom helped us obtain the supplies and equipment we needed to fight back against this virus. We cannot thank them enough!
