Veterans and Military Honored

In case you missed it, Nevada lawmakers observed Veterans and Military Day at the Legislature (VAMDAL) on March 17, 2021.  VAMDAL is designated by NRS 236.047 as the third Wednesday in March when the Nevada Legislature is in session. It provides an opportunity for our veterans and members of the U.S. Armed Forces (Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve) serving in Nevada, to interact, albeit virtually this year, with Nevada’s elected leaders. VAMDAL was jointly coordinated in partnership with the Nevada Department of Veterans Services, Nevada National Guard, and the United Veterans Legislative Council.
