Hugs, Warmth, Recognition Provided by Comstock Lode Quilters 

Members of the Comstock Lode Quilters have done it again! The Virginia City-based quilting group spread warmth and cheer at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home during a Quilts of Valor ceremony held last month.

Some 22 Nevada veterans received their very own, special, hand-made, quilt during the presentation. Through the Quilts of Valor program, individual quilts are provided to servicemembers and veterans who have been touched by war to provide them with warmth, comfort, and healing. It is a unique way to say, “Thank you for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation!”
