Thank You Cemetery Volunteers!

We cannot thank our volunteers at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery (SNVMC)! Their assistance in providing clean-up and maintenance helps to keep our cemeteries looking beautiful!  

About 40 volunteers from the two groups below cleaned up pine needles and pinecones as well as removed weeds last month:  

• Henderson Chamber of Commerce  
• MOPH Chapter 730 Henderson, Boulder City  

Additionally, BrightView Landscape Services spent the better part of a day in November trimming 4,250 grave markers and raking pine needles and pinecones as well as hauling off the debris. 

First Choice Tree Service, Inc. spent two days trimming between 80 to 100 pine trees on the property, clearing away the dead branches and lifting the branches along the bottom of the trees.
