Funding Requirements
Funding is provided through the Fund for Resilient Nevada (FRN) in accordance with Nevada Revised Statues governing the settlement-derived opioid response funding.
FRN is established in Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 433.712 through 433.744.
All funded projects must:
- Align with the Nevada Statewide Opioid Response Plan
- Address opioid use disorder prevention, treatment, recovery, anti-stigma awareness/education, or support services
- Directly serve Nevada veterans and/or their families
Activities not aligned with the Statewide Opioid Response Plan are not eligible for funding.
Evaluation & Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on:
- Alignment with state opioid response priorities
- Demonstrated need and expected impact
- Capacity and readiness to implement services
- Experience serving veterans and families
- Strength of evaluation and performance measurement plan
- Sustainability beyond the grant period

- All awards are subject to available funds and program priorities
