More than 100 women veterans from across Nevada gathered on a Saturday in Las Vegas for the 2026 Women Veterans Conference. The well attended event brought together new and returning participants to strengthen bonds of sisterhood, share their military experiences, and build lasting friendships.
The conference offered opportunities for connection, healing, and self-care, including meditation with sound bowls, role-playing activities, laughter-filled sessions, and meaningful conversations designed to strengthen trust and support among women veterans. The event was well received and reflected the growing interest among women veterans seeking community and connection.
Special guests included Nevada’s U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen and former Nevada State Senator Pat Spearman, who joined attendees in celebrating the courage, resilience, and shared service of Nevada’s women veterans. The conference celebrated the unique contributions of women veterans and reinforced the strength found in supporting one another as a community.
A highlight of the conference was the presentation of the Nevada Woman Veterans of the Year Award to Toni Washington, Vice President of Women Veterans of Nevada, in recognition for her passion and unwavering commitment to supporting and uplifting women veterans across the state. Her selection highlighted the spirit of service and dedication that continues to lift up Nevada’s women veteran community.
